About This Game A fantasy voyage through the great mythologies, Loki allows the player to take on the role of one of the four heroes of the game, each drawn from a different mythology: a mighty Norse fighter, a fierce Greek warrior, a powerful Egyptian magician or an Aztec shaman who masters the secrets of the spirit world. Whatever hero the player adopts, he must come to the aid of the gods he worships. He will come to realize that behind the chaos that is threatening his world lies Seth, the Egyptian god of darkness and evil, who has returned from the kingdom of the dead. The hero must therefore undertake an epic journey across the various epochs and myths. He will fight a multitude of monsters of all shapes and sizes, and even overthrow a few gods, on his way to preventing Seth establish his wicked reign. An epic adventure across four great mythologies - Aztec, Egyptian, Greek and Norse - allowing the player to live through many of the key episodes that mark these cultures (the siege of Troy, Ragnarok, ......) and setting him in the path of the most prominent figures within each episode (Achilles, Thor, Akhenaton...) Choose from four different heroes with radically different attributes and powers. Each hero has a vast array of spells and skills to help him through his quest. Weapons, being made of two parts (loosely «handle» + «cutting edge») and from different materials, can be customised at the village forge to change characteristics. Multiplayer lags horribly if you are not host, even with a properly configured lan. The singleplayer is not worth playing either. Please check out the demo before buying.. Now, let me get this point across first, Loki is not a good game.I find it fun, its like if diablo ate paintchips as a child.. I really want to recommend this game. It's got a good concept and I was looking forward to playing. Unfortunately the control system is difficult for me to use. Movement is point and click. Screen rotation is awkward. There is no first person view. In the early stages of the game (at least) there is very little opportunity to communicate with npcs. I'm going to set this aside for awhile. I may give it another go in a few months. If I change my mind, I'll amend my review. For now, though if you were a fan of this game when it first came out, then by all means, purchase it. If you're a fan of pont and click (instead of fps), then by all means purchase the game. Otherwise, hold off on purchasing until the game is on sale.. LOKI has great story and nice female voice to descrive missions. And all tiny things are just right. For example, before you do anything while entering a map, those enemies never attack you. That is, they won't attack you until you move. It's importt or the attack while you r not ready will be very annoying.Though the acts are dumb, that dumb way makes the gameplay fun. It makes you more "active" to play, also makes every fight more excited so that it doesn't bore me.. Game was one big level grind. I do not recommend.. its a steaming pile of horse♥♥♥♥♥♥ lacks any tutorial and it doesnt have any sense of direction on what you are meant to be doing. The inte
